"The Royal Saudi Navy has detected the movement of two remote-controlled explosive boats heading for the port of Jizan. They were intercepted and destroyed … which resulted in minimal damage, "coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said in a statement issued by the SPA.
According to him, the attack took place in the early hours of the morning of this Sunday.
The Houthi movement, which controls the capital Sana'a and other parts of Yemen, regularly carries out missile attacks against Saudi Arabia, which leads the Arab military coalition intervening in the Yemeni crisis alongside Government forces. The Houthis have increased the number of missiles in recent months to Saudi Arabia, but most have been destroyed in flight.
